yes i'm back ! :D
but right now i'm in taiwan, i'm gonna be here for about a week.
i'm going back to malaysia this sunday and i can't wait to meet up with everyone !
i'm in my hotel room at the moment with nothing to do ._.
so here's an update of my taiwan trip so far.
i gotta admit, taiwan is definitely a good place to shop, eat and have fun
i shall blog in pictures rather than words for i don't know how to describe the experience in words.
gu gong museum or national palace museum in taipei city.
i spotted this at the entrance of the museum, it's much bigger than what it looks like here.
gu gong museum is an art museum with lots of ancient chinese artifacts and artworks such as bronze, painting, jades, calligraphy, rare books, documents and etc. the museum is huge with three floors to visit, it's a wonderful place to visit if you're interested in the ancient chinese artifacts and artworks, i had a really good time exploring the museum (:

the national chiang kai-shek memorial hall in taipei city.
can you believe how many steps are there to reach the top ?
one of the seven new wonders of the world - taipei 101 !
the entrance to the taipei 101 mall.
brand lovers will love this shopping mall, but i still prefer to shop in ximending than here :D
taipei 101 features an indoor observatory at the 89th floor and an outdoor observatory at the 91st floor that offers a 360-degree view. it's possible to reach the 89th floor by taking the 5th floor elevator, but i'm too scared to take it when i know that it's the fastest elevator in the world
the national sun yat-sen memorial hall - a memorial to sun yat-sen, quite a multi-purpose cultural and educational center for the public.
the longshan temple, located in the wanhua district.
the grand hotel or the dragon palace in taipei, a famous landmark located on top of a hill overlooking taipei city.
the hotel is so grand and beautiful, i wonder how much will it cost to stay a night there ?
the martyr shrine. see that two guards outside the building? they can't move, talk or do anything at all ._." i wonder what they'll do if i attempt to touch their face ?
ximending ! a very busy district but it's the most awesome place to do your shopping.

糯米饭 which comes with the soup above, i like it because it's not too salty or oily.
wahh ~ what are they queuing up for ?!

麻坡豆腐, we ate this dish at a famous shanghai restaurant there, not too bad.
their signature dish, 东坡肉. yummy ~
let's not forget about this taiwanese snack - 蚵仔煎 :D
i still have a lot of pictures but i'm kinda lazy to post all of them
tomorrow we're going to kaohsiung !
