can't believe i'm finally going back to malaysia !
just three more days :D
i shudder at the thought of staying back for the summer holidays here in melbourne.
it's going to be super hot and humid here, with gigantic flies flying around everyday ._.
good luck to those who're staying here.
anyway, here's a quick update of the past few days.
last thursday i went out with my dear lorraine for dinner
and gees it's been a week since i've met up with her.
we went to this famous italian restaurant on collins street, sorry i can't remember the restaurant's name ._.
i've never been there before and since i can't decide on what to eat, she recommended this italian restaurant to me and said that we might have to wait because it's always packed full of people.
when we arrived there, i realized that she wasn't joking.
the food there must be really good because the place was so crowded !
but luckily since there's just the two of us, we managed to grab two seats at the back.
she went for the marinara pasta, but i can't take cheese so i opted for their famous focaccia instead.
lorraine's marinara pasta with lots of seafood in it, she asked for more cheese and she said it was the best marinara she has ever tasted.
my focaccia with virginia ham and tomatoes, the bread was nicely baked, yes baked not toasted. the outside layer was crispy and crunchy, while the bread itself was so soft and tender inside ! i absolutely loved this
during dinner we talked about a lot of things.
she told me that she wanted to go back as well, but she had to stay back and work here during the holidays to earn as much as possible for next semester's school fees.
i realized how lucky i am because i don't have that kind of problem, yet i still complained about a lot of things.
i'm so immature and childish, sighs
anyways, thanks for the dinner my dear.

the next day, me and my bro met up with his girlfriend cai qin, ah ning and chia zeh for dinner.
it's been a long time since we've gather around like this.
we were so busy with our assignments for the past few months that we hardly meet up for dinner anymore >.<"
and so, i recommended to go to han guk guan at victoria street for a hearty and delicious korean meal.
i'm a korean food lover, and what's the best place to go other than the famous han guk guan ?
but i have to admit, it's a bit pricey though.
the side dishes. surprisingly, the potato salad was delicious ! yummy.
their famous korean black bean noodles, or jajangmyeon.
it was so heavenly good that we nearly ask for another one, the portion was big enough to feed two to three person, now i know where to get the best jajangmyeon here in melbourne
ma pa du bu. a very healthy dish with tofu, prawns, onions, corns, mushroom and etc, it was quite good and the portion was huge.
another famous dish, their sweet and spicy chicken. every table had one of this, i'm not joking ! the dish wasn't oily even though it was deep fried chicken, and the amount of the flour was just right. loved it :D
say hello to my precious baby. omg this kimchi hot pot was so so heavenly good that just one sip of the soup made me squeal like i've won a lottery. but be warned, don't try this dish if you can't take spicy food (; this hot pot consists of noodles, ham, sausages, rice cakes, calamari, pork meat, vegetables and etc - certainly worth the price.

too bad my brother can't take spicy food, so he can only eat the ma pa du bu
poor thing, he didn't try the kimchi hot pot.
if he did, i bet he'll faint instantly ._.
we left han guk guan feeling really full and satisfied, i'll definitely go back to try out the other dishes !
after that, we walked to freddo for some heavenly gelato.
their pandan and coconut flavor never fails to impress my tongue :D
that's all for the past few days.
currently i'm preparing for my japanese exam, hope it's not going to be too hard ._.
i'm going to pack my luggage probably on wednesday night.
anyone wants any souvenir?
